  1. The teacher will  present ( explain) objectives to students.
  2. The students, divided into small groups, will look for informations using some maps.

 

Part  II

 

  1. Each group will present its work to the class.
  2. The teacher will help students to reflect upon connexion between physical geography and agricultural produces.
  3. Finally,  the students will realize a regional map with the most important territory produces and gastronomic specialities.

  2. The teacher will help students to reflect upon the use of such tools and agree with them about future use of them

Part  I

 

  1. The teacher will  present ( explain) objectives to students.
  2. The students will read the bar code of some products using the APP: FOOD SCIENCE and learn how to discriminate healthy from unhealthy food
  3. The students, divided into small groups, will look for recipes in the web.

 

Part  II

 

  1. Each group will present its work to the class.
  2. The teacher will help students to reflect upon what is healthy and what is junk
  3. Finally,  the students will realize: A) a food dictionary with nutritional data of the products. B) An e-book with some gastronomic specialities of the 3 countries: Italy, UK, Morocco.

Remarks

- Advantage of google presentation is, it will work on every device. There is no need of specific programs or versions.

- Disadvantage of the cloud – you need internet. Alternate you can work with a harddisk or USB-Stick.

Objectives

 To use Duolingo autonomously to improve communicative competence in French;

To acquire and use vocabulary/ grammar structures related to food and health;

To use the acquired vocabulary/grammar  to identify and describe (un)healthy habits

To use the acquired vocabulary and grammar structures to describe one’s own health condition;

To give advices using the structure «il faut + infinitif».  

Methods

In pairs, pupils will create a glossary for: food for the 4 basic meals: foods, beverages, vegetables and fruits.

Pupils identify and list on their notebooks healthy and unhealthy habits;

Pupils will use Duolingo to practice and revise the verb «Avoir»“and «être» that they will use to describe their health condition

Pupils will use Duolingo to acquire and learn vocabulary they will use to make suggestions for healthy habits using the struture presented by the teacher «Il fau + infinitif»..

Each pair will present the results of their work.
